I hope to share with you my love of stained glass. I view my glass work as an art form so every design is my own creation and I do not repeat designs in my windows. I enjoy the challenge of creating a work that becomes a part of the personality of the clients and also fits in with the interior decorating. Feel free to make comments, ask questions, or critique any of my postings. If you click on the slideshow to the right you can view the pictures in a larger format. Contact me at; rlhickmann@bendbroadband.com or rhickmann@hotmail.com ;please put stained glass in the subject.

Seagulls
Hildebrandt residence
Pocatello, Idaho
1986
Installed in a basement window Rec room. The coastal theme to remind them of the ocean.
The people who have encouraged me in this pursuit- Linda, my wife. Sarah Lodwick, artist. Greg Congleton, artist. Check out Gregs work at www.gregcongleton.com ! Thank you all! "I never liked jazz music because jazz music didn't resolve. But I was outside the Bagdad Theater in Portland one night when I saw a man playing the saxaphone. I stood there for fifteen minutes, and he never opened his eyes. After that I liked jazz music. Sometimes you have to watch somebody love something before you can love it yourself. It is as if they are showing you the way. I used to not like God because God didn't resolve. But that was before this happened." Donald Miller in Blue Like Jazz
"To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift." Steve Prefontaine
This is just a way to share life with Trey. Well ok I also admit that it is way of doing the grandparent bragging thing. A disgusting but necessary habit.
